CVD Diamond Inc — lab-grown diamond manufacturer in India, wholesale from Los Angeles.
Who we are
We are a family-run manufacturer. Our reactors and cutting floor are in India, with a sales office in Los Angeles and operations in New York. After five decades with mined goods, we moved to lab-grown early, in 2012, and never looked back. The stones are genuine diamonds, chemically and optically identical to mined, grown in weeks instead of ages.
Our story
01
A thin slice of diamond plate, polished flat, seeds every crystal we grow.
02
Carbon plasma builds the crystal layer by layer, three to six weeks per run.
03
Each grown plate is scanned and planned to find the largest, cleanest stone inside it.
04
The planned centre stone is laser-cut, then polished to fifty-seven facets in India.
05
Every certified stone leaves with an IGI or GIA report and a laser inscription.

CVD Diamond Inc is the largest manufacturer and wholesaler of lab grown diamonds serving Los Angeles and NYC. As CVD diamond manufacturers, we grow every stone in our own reactors in India, cut and polish it on our own floor, and sell it at trade prices through our Los Angeles office and our operations in New York.
Our lab grown diamond wholesale stock runs from 0.003 ct melee to 10 ct stones. Certified lab grown diamonds come with IGI or GIA reports, D to K colour and FL to SI clarity. Non certified lab grown diamonds and lab grown melee diamonds suit jewelers who set in volume.
A lab grown CVD diamond is made by chemical vapor deposition: carbon from a gas settles, layer by layer, on a thin diamond seed until it becomes a rough crystal. The result is a real Type IIa diamond, chemically and optically identical to a mined one. We have grown them since 2012. See how a diamond is grown.
