CVD Diamond Inc is a family-run manufacturer. We grow, cut and grade in India and sell through our own office in Los Angeles, with operations in New York. After five decades in mined goods we moved to lab-grown early, because the stones are genuine diamonds and the supply is clean.

The family begins trading mined diamonds in India, building the cutting and grading skills the business still runs on.

We install our first CVD reactors and move the business to lab-grown, years before the market follows.

Reactors and a full cutting floor in India, a wholesale office in Los Angeles, operations in New York, and stones from 0.003 to 10.00 carats.
How a CVD plate grows
Layer by layer, from a single seed.
A diamond seed plate sits in a vacuum chamber filled with carbon-rich gas. Microwaves turn the gas into plasma, and carbon atoms settle onto the seed one layer at a time. Weeks later the plate is thick enough to cut.
